Radome sizes we build
Confirmed size and construction facts for civil weather radar, airport ATC and satellite communication radomes. Every sandwich radome is designed per antenna and site — we do not publish a fixed civil diameter catalogue.

What we can confirm today
Numbers below come from delivered projects and brochure-confirmed capability. Where a civil sandwich diameter range is still being confirmed with our manufacturing factory in China, we write “designed per antenna and site” instead of guessing.
| Construction / application | Size we can confirm | Band / notes |
|---|---|---|
| Small one-piece FRP radomes | Aperture up to 3.3 m | Seamless moulded covers for smaller antennas |
| Weather radar sandwich radome (factory-assembled case) | 6.5 m weather radome, assembled at the factory and ready for site install | Typical civil weather radar; other weather sizes designed per antenna and site |
| Metal-frame sandwich panels | Designed per antenna and site | For antennas at Ku band and below (including C-band weather radar and X-band distributed networks) |
| Metal-truss membrane radomes | Up to 20 m delivered | For above Ku band (including Ka-band low-dielectric designs and Q/V-band satcom) |
| Phased-array and solid-state weather radar | Sized to the array and site — not a fixed catalogue diameter | Low-loss, RF-transparent panels for wide scan angles and lower transmitter power |

What we design for
Phased-array weather radar radomes
Flat or multi-face arrays need low insertion loss across wide incidence angles — we design the wall and joints around that scan envelope.
Solid-state weather radar
Lower peak power leaves less margin for radome loss. High transmissivity is a design target, not an afterthought.
X-band distributed networks
Many identical gap-filler sites need repeatable RF behaviour, compact shipping and fast install.
C-band weather radar
Common civil weather antennas (for example around 4 m) are covered with sandwich radomes designed per antenna and site.
Ka-band low dielectric
Above Ku we use truss-membrane constructions selected for low dielectric loss at Ka and higher.
Second-source radome supply
Radar makers who already have an antenna can specify a standalone radome without buying the antenna again.
